Shoe of the Day - Nike Zoom Kobe 3

Nike Zoom Kobe 3

This is one of my favorite shoes out there. Combination of lightness, quickness, speed, strong support and comfort - with a sweet design this shoe is one of the best period. Kobe's Nike Zoom 3 is a very good basketball for any player - especially guards. If you wanna be dunkin, get a pair of these.

"I love this shoe. It is my favorite basketball shoe to play in from Nike since the Air Zoom Generation. It molds to my foot pefectly and almost feels like a sock. The ankle support is great. Its an overall great shoe. The unique look and aesthetics of the shoe are out of the world as well. Love this shoe! Best non retro Nike has dropped in a long time." - former nba player Doug Christie

Shoe of the Day - Lebron first shoe - Air zoom generation

Air zoom generation

The kings first shoe is a classic to me. Many people may have forgotten about this shoe that was wanted all over the globe a couple years ago. Lebron's coming out party came with this product of nike. Was it 90 mil he made during his first years????

Review
"Alright then, to sum up, the Nike Air Zoom Generation is a solid shoe for all-around players at any position. Allowing a bit too much front-to-back movement within the shoe and with an overly flat footbed, the Generation is not perfect. But it has a lot to offer in the areas of impact protection, cushioning feel, stability, and, most especially, comfort. Another plus is that its genuine, full-grain leather/textile upper should hold up very well over time - this even though the Generation is one of the lightest legitimate all-around/all-position shoes on the market today. No, it doesn’t mark a major advance in the design of athletic footwear, but the Air Zoom Generation does bring together a handful of truly useful technologies and, if you look at the complete package (Sphere inner bootie, carbon fiber spring plate, Zoom Air at the forefoot, standard Air-Sole unit at the heel), the shoe offers quite a bit of performance and content for its price. I wouldn’t characterize it as a value buy, but neither would I characterize it as an extravagance. The one group to whom I would strongly recommend the shoe are those who like the feel of Zoom Air at the forefoot, but want something a little more substantial at the heel. If that’s you, the Air Zoom Generation will almost certainly make you feel the part of the king."

Shoe of the Day - Nike Hyperdunks

Nike Hyperdunks

This is one of the ideal basketball shoes today. Nike Hyperdunks are the 2008/2009 basketball shoe of the year. Many squads order the pair as a team shoe.
Review
The Hyperdunks are pretty stylish; the side has nice designs that kind of look like webs. It is not over decorated and flashy; some shoes are too shiny and have to much design making them more for attention. The shoe is extremely light and has decent ankle support. I have hurt my ankle several times with other shoes from nike or adidas, but there is no problem with the hyperdunks. After awhile from using it the grip on the bottom loses it traction. The heel of the shoe also may break and landing hard might hurt your feet. It is also hard to wear ankle braces with them - you have to push your feet in pretty hard to snug them in. If you are a intense ball player you might need to get a new pair after about 4 months as they wear pretty easily - but most shoes are like that if you ball hard......
The shoe is not stylish is you wear them for casual sake; however they make a good buy.

Shoe of the Day - Tmac 2s

Tmac 2s

These are a couple years back but still one of the flyest looking shoes out there. It was 2003s shoes of the year on kicksguide.com.
Reviews
"From a performance, comfort, durability and value standpoint, the TMAC II has it all. It is without question the most complete shoe on this list - when price is a factor. It is the cheapest shoe of the bunch, yet it was flagship signature of the league's leading scorer. With an affordable retail price of $100, the TMAC did not take any shortcuts in terms of quality or workmanship. It may not be quite as luxurious and refined as the XVIII, but it was still pretty darn close at almost half the cost. It was Adidas way of showing the consumers how overpriced Nike signature lines had been in the past few years. It is also what pressured Nike to sign Lebron James to be able to counter with a popular signature shoe for the masses. That TMAC II has showed that Adidas has what it takes to compete with the best in the industry. In that regards, the Adidas TMAC II is a remarkable shoe that won our Shoe of the Year award not only by the numbers but by having the biggest impact." Kicksguide.com

Shoe of the Day - Kevin Durant's nike KD1

NIKE KD1

This is Kevin Durant's first shoe. The design gives it an original look. This just looks fresh in my opinion.
Reviews
"Strengths: The Nike KD1 had a very responsive feel to it. When jumping, this sneaker seems to possess springs because one is able to vertically react quicker than usual. For example when jumping up to grab a rebound, your second jump seems to be quicker than others because of the Nike KD1’s responsiveness. Credit the KD1’s low profile Zoom Air that rests in the forefoot. The cushioning has proven time and time again to be the most responsive cushioning one can get. Though Nike traditionally puts “Zoom” in the official names of their shoes, the Nike KD1 definitely has Zoom Air setting this shoe apart from so many at its price of just $88. Another plus for the shoe was the flexibility of the shoe’s sole. Nike achieved this thanks to grooves that cut into the rubber cupsole at strategic points to help one transition and move up and down the court.

Weaknesses: Although the KD1 is a very lightweight, it was a little too stiff around the ankle area and on the bottom of the foot for the first several wearings. The patent half patent leather/half synthetic nubuck gives an interesting look for the shoe, but after a few wearings the shoes showed a little more wear than I anticipated to see. Lastly, though alot of basketball is played on the front half of your feet, it would have been nice to have Zoom Air in the heel."
